Sales and Marketing Assistant

Dental Axess is head quartered in North Ryde providing digital dentistry solutions in Australia, New Zealand and Europe. As a result of continued growth of the business Dental Axess has created a position for a Sales and Marketing Assistant.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Marketing and Sales Manager, this role will be responsible for all aspects of the support functions to sales and marketing within the organisation.

  • Assist in managing sales development activities
  • Receiving inbound leads and working with sales team to follow-up
  • Processing purchase orders on behalf of sales team
  • Assist with preparation and distribution of marketing collateral
  • Support customer communications
  • Maintain company’s website
  • Produce graphic work for print and web marketing collateral
  • Assist with maintaining CRM database
  • Assist in providing marketing collateral supporting the sales team
  • Assist in organising events and activities
  • Work with all members of the organisations internal team to meet the customers’ needs

Key Selection Criteria:

  • To be able to provide professional first-class customer support and service
  • The ability to absorb and convey technical product information
  • Strong administrative skills including answering phone enquiries, generate high quality and accurate correspondence and distribute within company
  • To be able to manage communications, promotions, and social media platforms
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to provide high level lateral thinking when required
  • Commercial awareness; the ability to understand key cost and profit drivers of the business
  • Ability to manage and organise events and activities
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Professional integrity and the ability to work independently
  • Energetic, passionate and committed

To be successful you will ideally have the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing/Graphic Design or equivalent professional experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sound understanding of digital communications
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Sales and marketing experience
